Throughout the event, we welcomed visitors to our educational and demonstration stand, where we showcased technologies and equipment designed for firefighters, rescue teams, emergency response units and the general public. Our goal was not only to present products, but above all to demonstrate their practical applications and show how they support emergency services in real-life situations.
WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS – Advanced Technologies for Modern Rescue Operations
One of the main highlights of our stand was WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS battery-powered hydraulic rescue equipment, which has become the modern benchmark for technical rescue operations and vehicle extrication. Visitors learned about the advantages of battery-powered solutions, including greater mobility, easier handling and faster deployment in the field. Visitors had the opportunity not only to see the equipment up close, but also to try selected tools themselves and gain first-hand experience of how they are used during real rescue operations.
FIRE ISOLATOR – Answering the Question: “What If an Electric Vehicle Catches Fire?”
Another topic that attracted significant interest was the FIRE ISOLATOR fire suppression blanket designed for incidents involving electric vehicles. As the number of EVs continues to grow, so does the need for effective procedures to deal with battery fires. During the event, we explained how the blanket works and how it can be used to help contain fire, heat and smoke.
One of the most common questions we received at our stand was: “What if an electric vehicle catches fire?” This provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the complete FIRE ISOLATOR system, which combines a fire blanket with aerosol suppression units. Together, these components help isolate the burning vehicle, reduce the risk of fire spreading to surrounding areas and create safer conditions for firefighters during emergency response operations.
Bambi Buckets & FIREFLEX and Robots COLOSSUS & First Mover – Technologies for Air and Ground Operations
As IMAD is first and foremost an aviation event, aerial firefighting naturally became one of the key topics of discussion. We introduced visitors to Bambi Buckets and FIREFLEX portable water tanks, both of which play an important role in supplying water for helicopters responding to wildland and large-scale fires. Many visitors were curious about how helicopters refill water in the field and what equipment is required to support aerial firefighting operations. Practical demonstrations involving a Mi-17 helicopter provided the answers, allowing visitors to see these technologies in action and better understand the value of aerial support during emergencies and wildland fire incidents.
We also showcased modern technologies designed for operations where firefighter safety is a top priority. Together with representatives of the Slovak Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ), we presented the COLOSSUS firefighting robot and the FIRST MOVER robotic transport platform. These systems are designed for deployment in hazardous environments where minimizing risk to responding crews is essential. We are proud to have contributed to the delivery of these technologies to HaZZ, supporting the continued modernization of firefighting capabilities in Slovakia.

Looking Forward to Seeing You Again
For us, IMAD 2026 was above all an opportunity to meet people who share an interest in aviation, emergency services and modern technology. It was especially rewarding to engage in inspiring conversations, answer visitors’ questions and see the enthusiasm of children and young people who had the chance to explore the equipment up close and even try some of it for themselves.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand. We hope we helped visitors gain a better understanding of the technologies that support firefighters and rescue teams in their demanding work, and perhaps even inspired some future professionals along the way. We look forward to meeting you again at future events.
