The MAUS Stixx PRO is CE certified with Module B certification from BAM (www.bam.de) and Module E certification from Fiditas (www.fiditas.com). For each batch produced, we perform tests on a certain number of units to ensure quality, durability and functionality.

The MAUS Stixx PRO series is a Swedish innovation and in addition to worldwide trademark protection, it also has design and utility patents. The aerosol is in the form of a potassium mixture. Potassium radicals can stop chemical reactions taking place in a fire by neutralising hydrogen, oxygen and hydroxy radicals in the flame. Fine extinguishing particles are a very effective extinguishing agent. Small particles float in the surrounding air for a longer time compared to larger particles. The prolonged floating time may contribute to increased protection against re-ignition.

Causes of electrical enclosure fires

Poorly routed or old cables

Electricity also has an expiry date, and when that date passes, the electrical system poses a risk. It is age that causes weathering of old materials, and also the influence of surrounding materials.

Blitz Strikes

Electrical panel fires can also occur due to external natural influences. Such a case has also been reported in Sweden, where a house fire originated in a junction box after a lightning strike.
